Shopify recently released an update on their end that affects app integrations like Clientbook. Because of this change, we need one additional setup step to ensure the Shopify → Clientbook integration continues functioning correctly.
Please follow the steps outlined below to update your Clientbook integration inside of Shopify.
Once the steps are complete, please let us at support@clientbook.com know so we can confirm the integration is back up and running.
Clientbook Uninstall
- Log in to Clientbook on a browser
- Click Setup, then Integrations
- Click the Shopify integration page to open
Click Uninstall to uninstall the integration
Open Custom App in Shopify:
- Log in to Shopify
- Click Settings in bottom left corner of the page
- Click Apps and sales channels in the left navigation menu
- Click Develop Apps in the top right corner
Click on the Clientbook app under Legacy custom apps
Update App Configuration:
- Go the Configuration tab, then click Configure next to Admin API integration
- Scroll until you find Locations, then check the read_locations box
Click Save
