Integrating your Clientbook to the Edge is a seamless way to sync your data and enable powerful features such as Review Requests and Repair Notifications. This integration allows client, product, and sales transaction data to automatically pull over to Clientbook, enabling powerful automation tools such as sales-triggered messages to engage your clients effectively. This guide will walk you through the steps involved in completing the Edge integration process.
Step 1: Coordinate with Your Customer Success Manager
The integration process begins with your Customer Success Manager (CSM).
- Speak with your CSM to let them know you’re ready to integrate.
- Once confirmed, your CSM will notify the Clientbook Support Team to start the process.
Step 2: Schedule a Time with Support
After the support team is notified:
- You’ll receive an email from support to schedule a time for the integration.
- In this email, you’ll also be asked to:
- Download TeamViewer on your server computer.
- Follow this guide to get TeamViewer set up: How to Download and Install TeamViewer for Integration Setup.
- Provide Edge Associate IDs: Reply to the support email with the Edge IDs of your associates who will be using Clientbook.
- Download TeamViewer on your server computer.
Step 3: Provide Access for Integration
On the day of your scheduled integration:
- Have your TeamViewer ID and password ready. This allows our support team to securely access your server computer.
- The support team will use TeamViewer to connect to your system.
Step 4: Integration and Data Sync
- The setup process itself typically takes 30 minutes.
- However, syncing your store’s data from The Edge to Clientbook may take anywhere from 2 to 12 hours, depending on the size of your data.
Step 5: Post-Integration Setup
Once the integration is complete, you can set up:
- Review Requests: Send follow-up requests to clients for feedback.
- Repair Notifications: Notify clients when repairs are ready for pickup.
