There are several ways to add new clients to Clientbook, depending on your workflow and preferences. This article focuses on the most common methods, including how to manually add clients through the Dashboard (web version of Clientbook) and the mobile app, with detailed steps and screenshots for each.

Dashboard
To manually add a new client to your Clientbook account via the Dashboard, follow the steps below.
Note: Depending on your access level, your navigation bar may look different from the screenshots in this article. These examples are shown with Manager access, but rest assured the steps are the same for everyone!

Navigate to the Clients Tab
- Go to the Clients tab located at the top of your Dashboard.

Click on Add Client
- Click the Add Client button located above the list of existing clients.

Enter Client Information
- Fill in the client’s details, such as name, contact information, and preferred contact method.
- The preferred contact method determines how Clientbook will send messages to the client (e.g., email, text).
- Once you’ve entered all necessary details, click Save.
Note: If you enter information that already exists on another client profile you'll see this pop-up letting you know and asking you to confirm. -
Access the Client Details Page
- Once the client is created, you’ll be taken to the Client Details page. Here, you can add additional information to their profile, such as:
- Preferences
- Life event dates (e.g., birthdays, anniversaries)
- Relationships (e.g., spouse or family connections)
- and more!

Mobile Apps
To manually add a new client to your Clientbook account via the Android or iOS mobile app, follow the steps below.

Navigate to the Clients Tab
- Tap the Add Client icon in the top left corner of the screen.
- Enter their information (name, number, and/or email). Once you've added at least 1 piece of information you can hit Save!

Access the Client Details
- Once the client is created, you’ll be taken to the Quick View page. To access the Client Details page hit the Profile button.
