This guide goes over messages received through the Clientbook web chat. For instructions on how to install the web chat, please click HERE.
The web chat interface provided through Clientbook allows for potential customers to engage with your store directly on your website via a chat interface.
Customers can enter in their name, phone number, and inquiry into the fields above and their message will come through to your Clientbook inbox. Webchat messages will indicate that the message was sent via the webchat form, and will display which page on your site that they were visiting when they chatted in.
When customers fill out the fields above, there is a chance that a number is mistyped, or an invalid number is entered in when chatting in. After responding, if the number inputted by the customer is not a valid number, you will see the following banner:
You can also check the client details page to see if the phone number is valid. An invalid phone number will have a red X and will signal that the number provided was not a valid phone number.
