Clientbook makes it easy to identify how a message was sent and who it came from. In the message thread, look for the icon next to the message and the label above the message.
Messages sent directly by an associate
When an associate sends a one-on-one message to a client, you will see:
-
An associate icon next to the message, either the associate’s initials or their Clientbook profile photo (if one has been set)
This appears as a small circular image to the left of the text message (for example, “AA”).
The specific associate’s name displayed above the message.
Automated messages and mass messages
When a message is sent through an automation or as a mass marketing message, you will see:
-
A lightning bolt icon next to the message
This appears as a lightning bolt symbol and indicates the message was not sent manually by an associate.
-
An automation label above the message that describes the type
Examples include labels like Automated Message or Mass Message (based on your setup)
Important Note: Even if the message text includes an associate’s name, it will still be marked with the lightning bolt icon and the automated message or mass message label if it was sent through an automation or a mass message.Related article
