Yes, you can! While only one associate can be assigned to a client, we understand there may be times when another associate needs to communicate with a client they are not assigned to.
Important: Sending a message to a client will automatically add you to the conversation thread, allowing you to receive notifications when the client responds to your text. You can also join a conversation without sending a message by following the steps listed below.
However, joining a conversation thread, whether automatically or manually, does not assign you to the client.
Steps to Join a Conversation Thread for a Client You’re Not Assigned To:

Navigate to the "Store Inbox."

Locate the message thread you want to join.

Note: As shown in the screenshot, you are not assigned to this client. This applies whether the client is assigned to another associate or has no assigned associate at all

Click the three dots next to the client’s name.

From the dropdown menu, select "Join."

From the dropdown menu, select "Join."

Verify the Conversation Thread Appears in "My Inbox."

Confirm that the thread has been added to "My Inbox."

Note: Even though the conversation thread is now in "My Inbox," you are still not assigned to the client, as illustrated in the screenshot.

Leave & Invite: You can leave a conversation thread or invite other associates to join a thread using the same steps.
By following these steps, you can effectively participate in conversations with clients, even if you are not assigned to them.
