Feature Available on Plan: Elite
Admins now have the ability to control associate permissions, making sure staff can only access client profiles and conversations for the clients they’re assigned to. This feature helps with privacy, security, and streamlining the interface. By limiting what associates can see, they can focus more on building and nurturing relationships with their clients.
How to Enable the Advanced Associate Permissions Setting:
Log in to your Clientbook account through the Dashboard (Desktop).
Click the Setup Tab. Under the Setup dropdown, select General Settings.
Scroll down and enable Limit Associate Visibility by toggling the setting on.
Click Save.
What will this look like for associates?
Messaging:
Associates will have access to their own inbox, which will only show conversations with their assigned clients. If they try to start a conversation with an unassigned client, they can search by name but will get a pop-up letting them know they don't have access to that client.
Client Search:
The Clients page shows a list of clients assigned to each associate. If associates search for an unassigned client, they’ll see a pop-up letting them know they don’t have access to that client.
Also, the client "Quick Information" icon will be disabled for associates who aren’t assigned to that client.
How do I edit associate assignments?
