Overview
This article covers how to reassign sales opportunities in Clientbook, both individually and through client reassignment.
Reassigning an Individual Opportunity
Steps:
Search for and open the client profile
Click into the sales opportunity
Select Edit
Update the Opportunity Owner
Click Save
What Happens After Reassignment
The new owner is updated immediately
A system log records who made the change
All reminders tied to the opportunity are reassigned
The new owner will see the opportunity and reminders on their Today Page
Reassigning Opportunities via Client Ownership
You can also reassign opportunities by updating the assigned associate on a client profile.
Steps:
Open the client profile
Click Edit
Change the Assigned Associate
Click Save
Confirm the reassignment
What Happens After Reassignment
The client is reassigned to the new associate
Any open opportunities and reminders tied to the previous associate will also be reassigned
Important Notes
Only opportunities tied to the previous assigned associate will update
Opportunities owned by a different associate will not automatically change
