Overview
The Kiosk settings page controls how your appointment booking form behaves. These settings impact both the customer facing booking experience and how appointments are routed internally to your team.
Changes made here apply at the store level and should be reviewed anytime booking behavior needs to be adjusted.

Accepts Appointments
Description: Determines whether a store appears as a booking option for guests and staff.
Setup > Stores > Edit Store

When to disable this setting:
The store does not offer appointments
The store is temporarily closed for renovations

Same Day Appointments
Description: Sets the minimum number of hours required between the current time and the earliest available appointment slot.

How it works:
Clients can only see appointment times that meet the minimum advance requirement
Prevents short notice or same day bookings
Helps ensure staff are prepared for scheduled visits
Examples:
24 hours: A client booking Monday at 10:00 AM can see slots starting Tuesday at 10:00 AM
48 hours: Appointments must be booked at least two days in advance
0 hours: Allows same day bookings, not recommended for most stores
Best practice: Keep the default 24 hour minimum to allow time for preparation and staffing.
Virtual Appointments
Description: Enables a virtual appointment option on the booking form.

Important notes:
Clientbook does not generate video or call links
Associates must manually provide Zoom, Google Meet, or call details

Allow Clients to Choose an Associate
Description: Allows clients to select a preferred associate when booking.

Clients have established relationships with specific associates
You want to support repeat business with preferred salespeople

You use a first available or round robin assignment approach
Default Assigned Associate
Description: Automatically assigns appointments to the client’s assigned associate when possible.

How it works:
Checks the client profile for an assigned associate
Assigns the appointment automatically if one exists
Routes to the queue if no associate is assigned
Best practice: Enable this if your clients typically work with the same associate.
Appointment Duration
All appointments in Clientbook are set to a fixed duration of 30 minutes. This duration cannot be customized by appointment type.
Time Slot Availability
Appointment availability is controlled by store hours.

How Store Hours Affect Booking

Last Available Appointment Slot
The final available appointment slot aligns with store closing time so the appointment ends when the store closes.
Example:
If a store closes at 6:00 PM, the last available appointment slot will be 6:00 PM.
