Appointment types help categorize why clients are booking time with your team. These types appear on your booking form and give associates helpful context so they can prepare for each visit.

It's important to note that Appointments require your store hours to be configured for appointment availability to appear on the booking page.
What Are Appointment Types?
Appointment types describe the purpose of a client’s visit. When a client books an appointment, they select a type so your team knows what they are coming in for.

Consultation
Personal Shopping
Product Pickup
Repair Drop off
Follow up Visit
Special Event
Bridal Appointment
Custom Design
Clear appointment types create better experiences for both clients and associates.
How to Add an Appointment Type
Follow these steps to create a new appointment type.
Go to Setup > Clients > Appointments
Scroll to the Appointment Types section
Click Add Appointment Type
Enter the name of the type, such as Consultation
Click Save
The new appointment type will immediately be available on your booking forms and when creating appointments in the dashboard.
How to Edit or Remove an Appointment Type

Locate the appointment type in the list
Click the Edit button, shown as a pencil icon
Update the name as needed
Click Save
Removing an Appointment Type
Locate the appointment type in the list
Click the Delete button, shown as a trash icon
Confirm the deletion
Note: Removing an appointment type will not impact existing appointments that already use that type.
Best Practices
Keep Types Clear and Client Friendly
Use names that clients will easily understand. Avoid abbreviations or internal terminology.

Limit the Number of Types
Too many choices can overwhelm clients. Aim for three to seven appointment types that cover your most common visit reasons.
