Users with Admin and Manager level access in Clientbook can use the Dashboard to customize the general settings for their store. From the General Settings page, you can view your account login information, set daily clienteling goals, create a custom name for the Sales Pipeline section, and choose to hide the cost of your products.
To configure your settings, follow the steps below.
Step 1: Open General Settings
Click on the Setup tab on your Dashboard. Under the Setup dropdown, select General Settings.
Step 2: Customize Your Settings
From the General Settings page, you can customize the following sections:
App Account Info
View your account login information, including the License Key and Password. This is the shared login for your store's Clientbook account, not your individual login. When logging in with this information, associates will need their personal PIN to complete the sign-in process. See How to Log In with a PIN Using Merchant Login (App Only)
Note: This information cannot be edited from this page. It is provided for reference only.
Clienteling
Set a Daily Clienteling Goal for your associates. This number represents the target number of clienteling activities (such as reaching out to a client) each associate should complete per day. The goal you set here will be the default for all stores, unless a specific store or associate has a custom goal configured.
You can also set goals for individual stores or associates. For more details, see How to Update My Team's Daily Clienteling Goals.
Sales Pipeline
Create a personalized name for your Sales Pipeline. This is the label that will appear throughout the Clientbook app and Dashboard wherever Sales Opportunities are referenced. For example, some stores rename this section to "Special Orders" or "Wish List" to match their sales process.
To learn more about setting up and using Sales Opportunities, see How to Set Up Sales Opportunities.
Limit Associate Visibility (Elite Feature)
Admins have the ability to control associate permissions, making sure staff can only access client profiles and conversations for the clients they’re assigned to. This feature helps with privacy, security, and streamlining the interface. By limiting what associates can see, they can focus more on building and nurturing relationships with their clients.
To learn more about this feature, see Advanced Associate Permissions
Hide Product Cost
This setting allows you to hide the cost of products in Clientbook. When toggled on, product cost will be hidden on the product page for all users. When toggled off, product cost will be visible to Admins and Managers only.
For a step-by-step walkthrough, see How to Hide the Product Cost from Your Associates.
Step 3: Save Your Changes
After you have finished updating your settings, click the Save button at the bottom of the page to apply your changes.
