Sales Opportunities can give your team the ability to easily track their current leads to ensure they are following up and actively trying to get customers back in the store. You can customize these opportunities so that they fit your teams follow up structure and make the sales follow-up process efficient and thorough. Sales Opportunities are broken down into stages. You can customize these stages to easily show what part of the sales process that a particular customer is in. Sales Opportunities are best used for higher value products where additional follow up may be needed to drive the customer back into the store and sell them on the product.
Sales Opportunity Examples:
Jewelry: In Jewelry, sales opportunities are great tools to follow up in the bridal sales process. If someone doesn't purchase when they come into the store, we can apply this opportunity to their profile and keep track of how and when we are following up. There can be several reminders attached to this opportunity making sure the associate is doing their best to drive a sale with that customer.
Furniture: A customer who is getting close to finishing their build on their new house and is needing to furnish their new living area. An opportunity can be added to their profile to help keep track of their budget and notes on what type or style of furnishings they're looking for.
Men's Fashion: A client comes in who is looking to get a suit for himself and all of his groomsmen through, but is currently shopping around. You add an opportunity onto his profile to make sure you are following up and securing his business.
Utilizing Automation/Reminders in Sales Opportunities:
When your account is created, you will have a general opportunity configured with standard sales reminders. You have the option to add any additional reminders or automated messages to the different stages.
Automated messages can be a great asset on the first stage of an opportunity. For example, adding a same day auto message on the open stage that says:
"Hey [Client Name], it was a pleasure working with you today. I would love to help you find the perfect [product]. If I can be of any assistance going forward, don't hesitate to reach out".
Setting it up this way can allow you to simply add the opportunity to a customers profile, and allow Clientbook to send out this message for you, letting you get on to your next task.
