Whether products are pulled from your Point of Sale (POS) system via an integration or manually uploaded/created in Clientbook, sharing them through the platform can save time and effort.
For products imported from a POS, additional details like SKU, cost, and vendor style may be linked. However, when sharing a product with a customer, only the product image, description, and retail price will be visible.
How Products Appear to Your Associates
When associates view a product in Clientbook, they’ll see details such as the SKU, cost, vendor style, and other linked information, depending on what’s imported from your POS or entered manually.
How Products Appear to Your Customers
When a product is shared with a customer (e.g., via text), the customer will only see the product image and description as it’s listed in Clientbook. No additional details, such as SKU or retail price, will be included.
How Products Appear in Wishlists/Collections
When sharing a collection of products with a customer, their experience is slightly different. Customers will receive a link to the collection. Once they click the link, they’ll see:
- Your store information is displayed at the top of the page.
- A list of the products in the collection, including the product image, description, and retail price as listed in Clientbook.
