With you starting to text as a business, it can be beneficial to set up an automated response to your customers for messages coming in after hours. You can enable our after hours auto response to let your customers know that you're closed and when you will be getting back to them. Listed below are the steps on how to locate this feature, and set it up for your store.
- Click on the Setup tab at the top of your dashboard. Under the Setup dropdown, select Stores.
- Click on the Edit Store option for the store that you are wanting to enable this feature for.
- Scroll down until you see the After Hours Auto Response. Enable the toggle to the right of this feature. Once enabled, you should see the same setup as the image below.
- From here you can check the box next to the days you are open. That will then allow you to input your store hours for that given day.
**Best Practice Tip: Put your store hours somewhere in the automatic response so you don't have to type out your hours in text to the customer. - Once you've input your open hours and typed out the message to your liking, don't forget to scroll down and hit save!
