Feature Available on Plan: Elite
With Relationship-based Automation, Admins and Managers have access to create custom relationships that link client profiles! By creating relationships, associates can link clients based on specific associations. For instance, the link between a husband and wife can be easily established through a Spouse relationship.
Clients can have multiple connections, opening up a world of possibilities. These relationships are especially valuable when it comes to optimizing Life Event Auto Messages. Let's say it's Jane's upcoming birthday, and she is linked to her husband's profile through a Spouse relationship. In this scenario, you have the power to configure a birthday auto message to be sent directly to her husband, enabling him to pleasantly surprise Jane with a thoughtful birthday gift from your store!
This article provides an overview of the Relationship-based Automation feature, exclusively available in the Clientbook Elite Plan.
Creating Relationship-based Automation:
Admins and Managers can create new relationships through the web dashboard or mobile app. To create a new relationship through the web dashboard, follow these steps.
Click on your profile icon in the top right corner.
Click Relationship Types.
Click Add Relationship.
Choose a name for the relationship, then click Save.
This relationship will now be available to your associates when creating relationships between their clients.
Adding Relationships to Client Profiles:
Relationships can be established by editing a client profile in the app or web dashboard. Follow these steps to add a relationship to a client profile:
On the Clients page, search for a client and click their name to open the profile.
Click the Profile icon.
Click Edit next to Relationships.
Search by the name, email, or phone number of the client you would like to link, then click their name.
Click Relationship Type.
Select an option from the available relationship types. If you are an Admin or Manager you will also see an option to Create relationship type which allows you to create a new relationship.
Click Save, then you’re done!
Setting up Life Event Auto Messages for Relationships:
In your web dashboard click the Automation drop down.
Click Life Events.
Click on a Life Event, then click Message.
Choose the recipient of this auto message under Who will receive the message. By default, the recipient will be sent to Client which means the client with the event will receive the message.
You can change the recipient by opening the drop down list and choosing a relationship. For example, suppose Jane's birthday is approaching and the recipient for the Birthday auto message is designated as "Partner". In this scenario, the message will be automatically sent to Jane's partner.
When you select a relationship, a dynamic placeholder appears and can be used when composing your message. For example, choosing the "Partner" placeholder will automatically insert the partner's name into the message.
Create your message, then click Save when done.
Relationship-based Automation enables you to effectively manage and leverage your clients' connections. Utilizing these associations can take your Life Event auto messages to new heights, delivering personalized and meaningful experiences!
